REVELOHEALTH will use the capital to expand its iCALIBRATE platform, which integrates payer contract terms, claims data, and reimbursement logic to flag discrepancies before they hit the bottom line. As part of the deal, BSMH — one of the largest health systems in the US and the fifth-largest Catholic health system in the country — will deploy iCALIBRATE across its physician network.

Jason Szczuka, president of Accrete Health Partners and chief digital officer of BSMH, will join REVELOHEALTH's board.

Why now? Health systems and provider groups face mounting pressure to ensure they're being paid accurately under increasingly complex payer contracts. Revenue leakage from misadjudicated claims is a persistent and growing problem. "Health systems and provider groups need greater visibility into whether they are being paid accurately and in accordance with their contracts," said Sam Civello, REVELOHEALTH's chief executive officer.

BSMH's physician network offers a large-scale proving ground. Staci Lucius, president of BSMH Medical Group, said the deployment "supports a more standardised approach to contract validation, helping our teams identify issues earlier."

What could go wrong? Deploying contract-validation software across a sprawling health system is operationally complex. Integration with legacy billing and claims systems could slow rollouts. And REVELOHEALTH faces competition from established revenue cycle management vendors already embedded in hospital back offices.

The signal: REVELOHEALTH sits at the early growth stage, and backing from a corporate investor like Accrete Health Partners — with a built-in deployment across one of the largest US health systems — offers the kind of validated distribution channel that most healthtech startups struggle to secure. With lead investor Sante Ventures, a dedicated health and life sciences fund, already anchoring the syndicate, this round illustrates a pattern in healthcare IT where strategic capital from health systems themselves is replacing or complementing traditional venture funding to accelerate adoption from the inside out.
