Founded in 2019, Go Swag helps companies manage and distribute branded gifts globally through a platform that combines AI-powered product curation, logistics management, warehousing, and international fulfilment. It operates warehouse infrastructure across the UK, the Netherlands, and the US.

The new capital will fund international expansion — particularly in the US — a new warehouse in Southeast Asia, headcount growth, and continued investment in automation across quoting, account management, and recommendation systems.

Why now? The corporate gifting market is projected to grow significantly, but it remains fragmented and reliant on manual processes, disconnected suppliers, and low-quality merchandise. Companies running international gifting programmes face persistent challenges around sourcing, logistics, customs, and brand consistency across markets.

"The catalogue is dead and we're replacing it with smart AI-assisted curation and a better gifting process to match," said Conor McKenna, chief executive officer and co-founder of Go Swag.

What could go wrong? Corporate gifting is a crowded space with low barriers to entry. Go Swag's bet on AI-driven curation and end-to-end fulfilment must prove meaningfully better than existing solutions — many of which are deeply embedded in enterprise procurement workflows. Scaling warehouse operations across four continents on $6.2M in total funding is ambitious, and any missteps in logistics or customs compliance could erode margins quickly.

The signal: Mercia Ventures, a UK-based investment fund, leading this round underscores continued investor confidence in early-growth UK startups digitising large but operationally messy B2B markets. Go Swag's bet — bundling AI curation, warehousing, and international fulfilment into a single vertical platform — mirrors a playbook that has worked in adjacent categories like employee rewards and event management, but executing it across four continents on just $6.2M in total funding will test whether the company can lock in enterprise clients before better-capitalised competitors consolidate the space.
