Founded in 2022 by Theo Ribeiro and Pablo Staubli, Trinio builds software that integrates checkout, logistics, and store management for online retailers. It serves 50 clients, including Brazilian brands VivaraDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, Osklen, Reserva, and Asics.

The funds will go towards product development — chiefly TrinioOS, a platform that unifies Trinio's existing tools into a single operating system for e-commerce. The company aims to grow sevenfold and reach breakeven by 2027.

Why now? Brazil's e-commerce sector hit R$235.5B in revenue in 2025, up 15% year on year. As retailers increasingly blend physical and online channels, operational complexity has surged — and so has demand for tools that tame it.

Trinio says it grew its operations sixfold in 2025, driven largely by word of mouth. "We decided to focus on execution first," said Staubli, co-founder and chief operating officer. "The growth happened organically, pulled by big brands that attracted new clients."

What could go wrong? The e-commerce infrastructure space is crowded, with established players like VTEX already serving large Latin American retailers. Trinio will need to prove that its AI-first approach delivers measurably better outcomes to keep winning enterprise clients.

International expansion into Mexico and Colombia — also on the roadmap — adds execution risk for a team still scaling domestically.

With Brazil's online retail market growing 15% year on year and already topping R$235.5B, the race to own the operating-system layer beneath Latin American commerce is heating up fast.
