Huizhi International Travel raises ~¥200M Series C for overseas hotel B2B platform

What's the deal? Huizhi International Travel, a Chinese B2B platform for overseas hotel bookings, has closed a C1 funding round of nearly ¥200M (roughly $27M). The round was led by Hunan Caixin Industrial Fund, with existing investors Qifu CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and Fengyuan CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Huizhi directly sources hotel inventory and packaged travel products, supplying them to more than 10,000 clients — including travel agencies, hotel agents, airlines, corporate travel firms, and banks.

Why now? China's outbound travel market has been rebounding sharply since the country lifted its pandemic-era restrictions. Demand for overseas hotel inventory is surging as Chinese travellers resume international trips, giving B2B intermediaries like Huizhi a strong tailwind.

What could go wrong? The outbound travel sector remains sensitive to geopolitical tensions and visa policy shifts. Competition from larger platforms with deeper pockets — and from hotels' own direct-booking channels — could squeeze margins for middlemen.

The signal: Repeat backing from Qifu Capital and Fengyuan Capital — both investment funds that participated in earlier rounds — suggests Huizhi's B2B model is delivering on its growth metrics as China's outbound travel recovery accelerates. Securing a government-linked lead investor in Hunan Caixin Industrial Fund also points to state-level appetite for building out the infrastructure that connects Chinese distribution channels to overseas hotel supply.
