Dock issues R$175M in debentures

What's the deal? Dock, a Brazilian fintech, has approved the issuance of R$175 million (roughly $31M) in simple, non-convertible debentures. The bonds carry a five-year term and pay interest at CDI — Brazil's interbank benchmark rate — plus 3.20%.

The signal: Dock, classified as an early-growth stage company on Dealroom, is choosing debt over equity at a time when Latin American fintechs face a constrained venture environment. The five-year tenor and CDI-linked pricing suggest confidence in its cash-flow trajectory, allowing it to fund expansion without further diluting shareholders.
