Exaforce raises $125M Series B at $725M valuation for AI cybersecurity
What's the deal? Exaforce, a cybersecurity startup that uses AI agents to detect and stop attacks in real time, has raised a $125 million Series B at a $725 million valuation. HarbourVest, Peak XV, Mayfield, Khosla Ventures, and Seligman Ventures participated.
The round comes a year after a $75 million Series A, bringing total funding to $200 million. Exaforce's platform uses AI agents called "Exabots" to automate security operations centres, claiming to cut manual workload by up to 90%.
Why now? AI-powered cyberattacks are accelerating, making real-time defence critical. The company launched commercially in Q4 2025 and has signed 20 customers — including Replit and Guardant Health — with plans to reach 40 to 50 by year-end.
"High-profile attacks have supercharged our ability to get to customers," chief executive officer Ankur Singla told TechCrunch.
What could go wrong? The AI security operations space is getting crowded. Exaforce faces competition from startups like 7AI, Dropzone AI, and Prophet Security, alongside incumbents Palo Alto Networks and CrowdStrike that have significant distribution advantages.
The signal: The speed and scale of AI-enabled threats are pushing enterprises toward automated SOC solutions, creating a land-grab for startups that can demonstrate real-time response. Exaforce's rapid fundraising — $200 million in roughly a year — reflects investor conviction that the market is large enough to support multiple AI-native security platforms.
