Fig Security raises $38M to stop enterprise defences from failing silently

What's the deal? Fig Security has launched from stealth with $38 million across seed and Series A rounds to tackle a largely invisible problem in enterprise security: defences that break silently as infrastructure grows more complex.

Backed by Team8 and Ten Eleven VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →— plus veterans including the former chief executive officer of Splunk — the New York and Tel Aviv-based startup maps an organisation's entire detection and response stack, flagging breakdowns before they become blind spots.

Why now? Security operations centres are under mounting pressure to adopt AI and modernise faster, but complexity is outpacing visibility. As enterprises layer on more tools, the risk that a critical detection quietly stops firing — without anyone noticing — grows.

Fig's founders, veterans of Unit 8200 and Google Cloud Security, built the company in March 2025 after living this problem firsthand at Siemplify, which Google acquired for $500 million.

What could go wrong? Fig is entering a crowded, well-funded security market where large incumbents like Palo Alto Networks and Microsoft have deep enterprise relationships. Convincing security teams to add yet another platform to an already complex stack — even one designed to reduce that complexity — is a hard sell. The company is also racing to triple headcount by year-end, which brings execution risk at an early stage.

The signal: Fig is betting on a new category it calls "security operations resilience" — the idea that keeping defences working through constant change is itself a distinct, unsolved problem.

The framing resonates: RSAC named Fig a top 10 finalist in its 2026 Innovation Sandbox, a contest whose alumni have collectively attracted over $17.8 billion in investment. If the category sticks, it could carve out a durable niche between the monitoring and automation layers that already dominate enterprise security budgets.
