Data Security Startup Cyera Hits $9B Valuation with $400M Blackstone-Led Series F
Cyera, a fast-growing data security startup, has officially announced a $400 million Series F funding round , valuing the company at $9 billion , just six months after its previous raise at a $6 billion valuation.

Try Dealroom →, Cyera develops an AI-driven data security posture management platform that helps organizations map where sensitive data is stored, monitor how it is accessed and used by employees and applications, and identify security vulnerabilities. Initially focused on cloud environments, the company has been expanding its scope as AI adoption significantly increases both data volumes and exposure to data-related risks.
The new round was led by funds managed by Blackstone , with participation from existing investors including Accel, Coatue, Lightspeed, Redpoint, Sapphire, and Sequoia. With this latest raise, Cyera has now secured more than $1.7 billion in total funding . The company says it now counts around one-fifth of Fortune 500 companies as customers and more than tripled its revenue over the past year , driven by rising concerns around data leaks and governance in AI-enabled systems.
The investment underscores continued investor appetite for cybersecurity and data infrastructure companies positioned at the intersection of enterprise IT and artificial intelligence. For Blackstone, the deal further expands its exposure to businesses supporting the AI build-out, alongside investments in data centers, cloud services, and data management platforms.
