Soley Announces $200M Series C to Advance Cancer Pipeline and Cell Stress Platform
Soley Therapeutics has raised $200 million in a Series C financing to advance its lead oncology programmes into the clinic and scale its cell stress-sensing discovery platform.
The round marks a significant step for the company as it moves from preclinical research toward human trials.
Founded in 2020 and based in South San Francisco, Soley is developing a platform that analyses how cells respond to stress and therapeutic intervention.
By combining high-resolution cellular imaging, automation and machine learning, the company aims to identify drug candidates with novel mechanisms of action, particularly in oncology.
The new funding will support regulatory filings and early-stage clinical studies for Soley’s most advanced programmes, including candidates targeting acute myeloid leukaemia.
Capital will also be used to expand research and development capabilities and further develop the underlying platform, which the company says can be applied across multiple disease areas.
The Series C was backed by a mix of life sciences investors, including both new and existing shareholders, reflecting continued interest in platform-driven drug discovery despite a more selective funding environment for biotechnology.
