Hetz Ventures Raises $140M Fund IV for Israeli Cyber and AI Startups
Hetz Ventures has closed a $140 million fourth fund, bringing the Israeli venture capital firm’s total commitments to $500 million.
The new vehicle continues Hetz’s focus on early-stage technology companies emerging from Israel, with an emphasis on cybersecurity, data infrastructure and artificial intelligence.
Founded in 2018, Hetz Ventures has positioned itself as a specialist backer of technically driven founders, typically investing at seed and early Series A stages.
The firm is known for working closely with founders as they scale products from Israel to global markets, particularly in sectors where deep technical expertise and enterprise adoption are critical.
Fund IV builds on that strategy and reflects sustained interest from a broad base of limited partners, including Israeli and US institutions, global fund-of-funds, public companies and founders.
Hetz says the fund will be deployed across a concentrated portfolio, maintaining its approach of hands-on support rather than high-volume investing.
The new capital will be directed toward startups developing core infrastructure technologies, where Israeli founders have historically played a strong role. These include security software, data platforms and AI-driven systems that underpin enterprise and cloud environments.
With Fund IV, Hetz Ventures is aiming to reinforce its position as an early partner for Israeli startups tackling complex technical problems, at a time when global investors are placing renewed emphasis on resilient, infrastructure-focused technology companies.
