Vega Secures $120M Series B to Modernise Enterprise Security Data
Vega, an Israeli cybersecurity startup, has raised $120m in a Series B funding round led by Accel. The round values the two-year-old company at $700m, a sharp increase from the roughly $400m valuation reported six months earlier.

The two founders previously worked together at Granulate, the infrastructure optimisation company acquired by Intel in 2022, and both bring experience from Israel’s Unit 8200 military intelligence unit.
Vega’s approach centres on analysing security data “in place”, rather than moving large volumes of logs into centralised data lakes. By deploying lightweight agents that query data where it resides—across cloud platforms, identity systems and endpoints—the company aims to reduce costs, limit blind spots and speed up threat detection. The model is positioned as an alternative to legacy SIEM platforms that charge based on data ingestion and struggle with rising data volumes.
The company says the strategy is gaining traction. Just 18 months after commercial launch, Vega reports $28m in annual recurring revenue, net dollar retention of 140%, and a customer base that includes 17 Fortune 50 companies, among them several global banks. It claims that the majority of its US deals involve replacing incumbent platforms, with deployment cycles measured in days rather than months.
The new funding will be used to expand engineering and sales teams, pursue selective acquisitions in threat intelligence, and support international growth, including efforts to meet regulatory and data residency requirements.
While Vega acknowledges that it is still investing heavily and does not expect to reach cash-flow break-even until late 2026, the Series B provides several years of runway to execute its roadmap.
