Octane Achieves $1.3B Valuation in $100M Series F to Expand Vehicle Financing Platform
Octane, a US-based fintech focused on vehicle financing, has raised $100M in a Series F funding round at a $1.3B valuation to support the next phase of its growth.
The company provides digital lending and payments infrastructure for dealerships selling powersports vehicles, recreational vehicles and outdoor equipment, a segment that has traditionally relied on fragmented and manual financing processes.
Founded in 2014, Octane operates a technology platform that connects consumers, dealers and lenders, enabling faster credit decisions and streamlined loan origination at the point of sale.
Its core products, including its proprietary credit decisioning engine and embedded payments tools, are designed to improve approval rates for buyers while reducing friction for dealers and lenders.
The Series F capital will be used to continue expanding Octane’s product offering, invest in technology and data capabilities, and support growth across new vehicle categories and dealer partners.
The company has also pointed to plans to deepen relationships with lenders and manufacturers, as it looks to strengthen its position in a specialised but sizeable segment of the consumer finance market.
Octane has previously attracted backing from a range of growth and venture investors and has positioned itself as a category specialist rather than a broad-based auto finance platform.
Its focus on powersports and recreational vehicles has allowed it to build tailored underwriting models and workflows that differ from those used in traditional automotive lending.
