Entrée Capital Raises $300M to Expand Early-Stage Investment in AI and Deep-Tech
Entrée Capital has closed $300 million across two new funds, strengthening its position as a key early-stage investor in artificial intelligence, deep-tech, crypto infrastructure and software-driven innovation. The raise brings the firm’s assets under management to $1.5 billion.
The new capital will be deployed primarily at pre-seed, seed and Series A, with a remit spanning Israel, the UK, Europe and the United States. One vehicle, at $125 million, will focus on early-stage rounds, while a second, at $175 million, will support later seed and Series A/B opportunities, including selective follow-on investments in existing portfolio companies.
Entrée Capital frames the raise as a continuation of its long-term strategy of backing technically ambitious founding teams. Investment priorities include AI-native applications, vertical agents and enabling infrastructure; quantum and deep-tech systems; data, B2B software and productivity tools; and crypto infrastructure, security and decentralised physical systems. The firm also highlights “contrarian” and frontier-technology opportunities as a deliberate part of its mandate.
Partners describe the new funds as aligned with structural shifts underway in advanced computing and industrial technologies. General partner Ran AchituvDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → emphasises the convergence of physics, compute, software and national-security innovation, noting Israel’s continued strength in deep-tech and quantum research.
Eran BielskiDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → points to AI’s growing economic influence, arguing that its long-term impact goes beyond cyclical investment trends. Other partners underline the firm’s founder-led culture and its focus on market segments where low historical software adoption leaves room for step-changes in productivity.
Entrée Capital has invested in more than 180 companies since its founding in 2009, with a portfolio that includes monday.com, Deliveroo, Rapyd, SeatGeek, Gusto, PillPack and Coupang. The firm reports more than 40 exits to date and over $3 billion returned to investors.
