With Tencent taking a 26.32% economic stake, the deal values Vantage Studios at a pre-money enterprise value of €3.8 billion and marks a significant step of Ubisoft’s broader organisational overhaul.

Vantage Studios, fully operational since October 2025, was created to give Ubisoft’s flagship franchises dedicated leadership, greater autonomy and clearer accountability.

Vantage Studios is designed to accelerate long-term growth by transforming the franchises into evergreen, multi-platform ecosystems. Ubisoft says the new structure will support more frequent updates, stronger live-service features and broader creative direction.

The investment strengthens Ubisoft’s balance sheet by reducing consolidated net debt and providing additional flexibility to support selective investments across the group. It also serves as a key pillar in Ubisoft’s shift toward a new operating model organised around “Creative Houses,” intended to streamline decision-making and increase creative focus.

For Tencent, the agreement extends a long-standing partnership and provides greater exposure to franchises with global, durable reach. For Ubisoft, it crystallises the market value of its flagship IP and gives Vantage Studios the strategic and financial independence needed to pursue more ambitious development plans.
