Evertrace Acquires Morphais to Strengthen Early-Stage Founder Detection
Copenhagen-based startup EvertraceDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, known for its AI-powered founder-detection platform, has acquired Berlin-based Morphais, adding to recent acquisitions of Whisper AI and Danish firm Seedpoint.
Morphais will be integrated into Evertrace’s technology stack to enhance its ability to detect emerging founders and early-stage companies—using signals from trade registries, domains, code repositories and other non-traditional data sources.
The acquisition of Morphais follows two earlier deals completed in rapid succession: the purchase of Whisper AI, a German start-up specialising in corporate registries and DACH-region data, and Seedpoint, a Danish firm focused on advanced data infrastructure for early-stage company detection. These moves underscore Evertrace’s ambition to become a comprehensive sourcing engine for venture capital firms seeking to identify promising founders ahead of traditional deal flows.
Evertrace’s platform supports more than 120 VC firms globally and uses machine-learning algorithms to monitor digital footprints, founder intent and startup formation trends. With the addition of Morphais, Whisper AI and Seedpoint, Evertrace expects to deepen its dataset coverage, strengthen workflow automation and expand its geographical reach across Europe.
By combining organic development with strategic acquisitions, Evertrace is positioning itself as a key tool in early-stage investment sourcing—enabling VCs to move faster, improve accuracy and access opportunities previously difficult to surface through manual methods.
