The company is launching the beta version of its browser, which allows users to automate repetitive online tasks — from sorting emails and taking meeting notes to updating CRMs or researching leads — without needing to code. The idea is simple: most of our work happens inside the browser, and a large part of it involves repeating the same manual actions. Strawberry wants to turn the browser into an intelligent assistant that can handle those tasks for you.
The funding arrives amid a surge of investor interest in AI agent tools across Europe. According to Sifted, startups building these kinds of automation and productivity agents have already attracted €4.7 billion this year — a sharp rise from 2024. Strawberry’s approach is part of a broader shift in the AI landscape, where startups are focusing less on building their own foundation models and more on developing practical, user-facing tools powered by models from companies like OpenAI and Anthropic.
Strawberry plans to use the fresh capital to expand its team, refine its automation features, and collect user feedback from its beta launch. For now, the company’s bet is that the future of work inside the browser will be less about clicking — and more about delegating.
