Quantinuum Hits $10 Billion Valuation with $600M Funding
Quantinuum, the quantum computing company formed from the merger of Honeywell Quantum SolutionsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and Cambridge Quantum, has raised $600 million in a funding round that brings its valuation to $10 billion. This investment marks one of the largest in the quantum computing sector, highlighting growing investor confidence in the technology.
The round attracted participation from Nvidia’s venture arm, Quanta Computer, and QED Investors, alongside existing backers including Honeywell and JPMorgan Chase. Honeywell remains the largest shareholder with a 54% stake. The funds will support the development of Quantinuum’s next-generation Helios quantum computer and help expand its global partnerships, research, and commercial operations.
Since its founding Quantinuum has made notable advances in quantum computing, including developing H-Series trapped-ion systems that have set new industry benchmarks. With this new capital, the company is positioned to accelerate the delivery of scalable and reliable quantum computing solutions, strengthening its leadership in an emerging and highly competitive field.
