Holo Secures $22 Million to Redefine Home Financing in the GCC

Holo, the Dubai-based digital mortgage platform, has raised $22 million in Series A funding , marking one of the region’s standout fintech rounds this year. The raise was led by Impact46 , with participation from Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala Investment Company , Rua Growth Fund , anb seed , MoreThan Capital , and existing backers including Salica Oryx Fund and Dubai Future District Fund .

Founded in 2019 by Michael HunterDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and Arran SummerhillDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → , Holo set out to digitize a process that had long been manual, opaque, and slow: applying for a mortgage in the Gulf. By creating a comparison and approval platform that removes friction between banks and buyers, the company has built a business that is already profitable in the UAE.

The new funding gives Holo the firepower to expand into Saudi Arabia and other GCC markets at a time when regional real estate is booming. The UAE’s residential property market is projected to grow from $143 billion in 2025 to $217 billion by 2030 , while Saudi Arabia is expected to see a similar trajectory, rising from $203 billion to $310 billion . These trends are being fueled by large-scale housing initiatives, urban expansion, and consumer demand for easier access to homeownership.

For Impact46 and Mubadala, the bet is on more than just mortgages—it’s on the digitization of an industry that has barely moved online. For Holo, the round represents a chance to turn early traction into regional dominance, scaling product, engineering, and partnerships to capture markets that are just beginning to open up.

In a region where property has long been a cornerstone of wealth and growth, Holo is positioning itself as the infrastructure layer for the next phase: making homeownership as seamless as any other digital transaction.
