This latest move follows Naver’s previous investments in Wallapop and aligns with its broader strategy to leverage innovation and expand its global reach.

Wallapop operates a robust online platform connecting over 19 million monthly active users to buy and sell a wide range of goods—from everyday items and electronics to vehicles—facilitating seamless peer-to-peer commerce. Naver intends to integrate its advanced technologies, including search algorithms, targeted advertising, digital payments, and artificial intelligence, to enhance Wallapop’s user experience and optimize transaction efficiency.
