KUN Raises $50M+ Series A to Scale Global Stablecoin Payments
KUN , a Hong Kong–based platform specializing in stablecoin payments and embedded finance , has completed an oversubscribed Series A round , bringing its total funding to over $50 million in just 20 months. Existing backers BAI Capital and GSR Ventures increased their stakes, while two new strategic investors, a publicly listed Hong Kong conglomerate and Eternium Global —joined the cap table.
The new capital will drive KUN’s expansion of its global stablecoin payment infrastructure , targeting cross-border settlements, secure blockchain rails, and compliance-first embedded finance solutions for enterprises and institutions. The company has experienced 200% month-over-month transaction growth over the past year , now serving thousands of global businesses.
KUN is rapidly developing its ecosystem through strategic alliances. A memorandum of understanding with TradeGo will integrate blockchain-based digital bill of lading (e-BL), compliance tools, and stablecoin settlement into a unified trade finance flow. At the same time, Eternium Global plans to deploy KUN’s platform across sectors such as logistics, insurance, commodities, energy, and healthcare, especially in Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa .
On the technology front, KUN will invest in its blockchain wallet infrastructure , AI-powered compliance tools (KYC, AML, KYT), and pursue licensing expansion in key jurisdictions including Hong Kong, Singapore, and Europe. The company positions itself as a Web2–Web3 hybrid , a regulated digital payments layer that bridges traditional finance and blockchain-native applications.
