Vivacta Biotechnology is a Shanghai-headquartered biopharmaceutical company focused on developing in vivo Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR)-T cell therapies. The company was established as a spin-off from Grit Biotherapeutics. The founder and CEO is Dr. Liu Yarong. Initial data presented in December 2025 showed promising safety and efficacy signals, including deep B-cell depletion in patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. In April 2026, Vivacta announced the completion of Series A and Series A+ financing rounds totaling over $50 million. The financing was led by Loyal Valley Capital and Decheng Capital, with participation from investors such as OrbiMed, Hankang Capital, Eisai Innovation Inc., Qiming Venture Partners, and others.
