The company's core technological strength lies in three main platforms developed since its inception. The flagship is the Navibody platform, a targeted mRNA delivery system. This technology uses a fusion protein, combining a Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP)-binding protein with an antibody, to enable the precise delivery of mRNA therapeutics encapsulated in LNPs to specific cells. This method aims to enhance the targeting of treatments for applications such as cancer and in vivo CAR-T, while minimizing off-target effects, particularly in the liver. mRNA serves as a blueprint for cells to produce specific proteins, and LNPs are the delivery vehicles that protect the mRNA.

In addition to mRNA delivery, MVRIX is developing engineerable recombinant botulinum toxin (rBoNT) and virucidal therapeutics. The rBoNT platform focuses on creating new therapeutic applications for botulinum neurotoxins, which are potent proteins with established uses in medicine. The company also has pipelines including MIC-001 and MBT-002, with the latter being licensed out to Eyegene Inc. in May 2025.
