LifeSignals develops and manufactures a semiconductor platform designed for capturing and transmitting vital signs to the cloud. The company was co-founded by CEO Surendar Magar, a seasoned professional in the high-tech industry who previously co-invented Texas Instruments' groundbreaking TMS320 digital signal processing chip. The captured data, including two-channel ECG, respiration rate, skin temperature, and motion, is transmitted wirelessly to a cloud server for analysis. Healthcare professionals can then access this near real-time data through a web portal, facilitating informed clinical decisions for patients in various settings, including hospitals, homes, and ambulatory care. The system has received multiple FDA 510(k) clearances, validating its use for both hospital and remote patient monitoring.

A key product is the UbiqVue 2A Multiparameter System, which has also secured FDA clearance. This system features a single-use biosensor that can continuously monitor SpO2 from the chest, along with twelve other parameters like pulse rate and body temperature. Another offering, the UbiqVue Holter System, is designed to accelerate cardiac monitoring by delivering diagnostic reports within hours of test completion, eliminating the need for patients to return the device.
