- Cell repair and regeneration is the best-funded anti-ageing approach in Dealroom's European map, with $1B in combined funding, ahead of metabolism and dietary at $700M.
- European longevity startups raised $770M in 2025 through June, ahead of the $409M raised by their US counterparts over the same period.
- People aged 55 and over are projected to make up more than 40% of the EU population by 2050, as lifespans lengthen and birth rates fall.
- European Healthy Ageing startups had raised $485M by June 2025, and the full year is projected at $1B, which would pass the $819M raised in 2022.
- UK startups raised $1.3B for Healthy Ageing between 2019 and 2024, more than Switzerland, Finland and France took in combined.
