Cedric Cops has been appointed CEO of AiroCollect, also known as AIRobot, a Belgium-based drone software company specializing in measurement tools for construction and roofing. This marks a new phase in his career after five years at Mediahuis Ventures. During his tenure at Mediahuis, Cops helped build the corporate venture arm from the ground up, gaining extensive experience in startup investments, company building, and product development. His background includes working closely with founders on go-to-market strategies, shaping product-market fit, and guiding teams through growth phases—skills that are directly applicable to leading an early-stage tech company.

At AiroCollect, Cops will lead the company’s efforts to expand its platform, which converts drone imagery into detailed 3D models for the construction industry.
