XPANCEO, a Dubai-based deep tech startup, has reached unicorn status following a major funding round to advance its development of AI-powered smart contact lenses. The company aims to create a seamless, multifunctional wearable that integrates extended reality (XR), health monitoring, night vision, optical zoom, and more—all within a contact lens thinner than a human hair.
