Ambyint: From Pumpwell Solutions to AI-Driven Oilfield Optimization

Ambyint began in Calgary in 2004 as Pumpwell Solutions, focusing on automation and optimization for artificial lift systems in the oil and gas sector.

In 2015 the company rebranded as Ambyint to reflect its shift toward AI-powered production optimization and expanded operations to the US, establishing a headquarters in Houston to access a larger market and investor base.

After securing multiple funding rounds and launching advanced IIoT and AI solutions, Ambyint re-established Calgary as its operational centre in 2023 while maintaining a U.S. presence.

Ambyint continues to focus on scaling its AI platform and supporting major oil and gas producers across North America in improving productivity and reducing emissions.
