Revolut Hits $1.4B Profit and $4 billion in revenue for 2024

Revolut has announced a major financial milestone, achieving $1.4 billion in profit before tax and $4 billion in revenue for 2024, while expanding its customer base to 52.5 million users. Remarkably, the company has maintained a 72% year-over-year revenue growth rate despite scaling to over 10,000 employees, a stage where most startups typically slow down.

Partner at Index Ventures, Martin Mignot, attributes Revolut’s continued high growth to its unique operating model and multi-product strategy. For the first time, Revolut shared a detailed breakdown of its revenue streams — highlighting that its Business unit alone generated nearly $600 million, positioning it among Europe’s largest B2B software companies if treated independently.

Looking ahead, questions focus on whether Revolut can achieve its ambitious goal of reaching 100 million daily active users across 100 countries. Given its current momentum, Index Ventures expresses strong confidence in Revolut’s trajectory.
