Metail's EcoShot Transferred to Tronog

In November 2023, Metail and TronogDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → have announced a partnership focused on EcoShot , a digital visualisation tool designed to help fashion brands present garments more efficiently during product development.

As part of the agreement, ownership of EcoShot will be transferred to Tronog , which will continue to develop and manage the tool moving forward. Metail will support the transition while focusing on other areas of its business.

EcoShot combines Tronog’s expertise in 3D virtual garment technology with Metail’s photorealistic model imagery , enabling the realistic rendering of digital clothing on human models. The tool allows design teams to visualise garments without producing physical samples or conducting traditional photoshoots, offering potential reductions in time, cost, and material waste.

The partnership aims to improve decision-making in early design stages and support remote collaboration by providing more accurate and shareable digital assets. This approach is intended to help brands reduce over-sampling and adopt more sustainable practices.
