Prafulla Dhariwal, an accomplished tech specialist from Pune, India, is currently the Head of Omni at OpenAI and has been instrumental in the development of several groundbreaking AI models, including ChatGPT 4o.

Dhariwal graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2017, where he studied computer science, mathematics, and physics. He has been a research scientist at OpenAI since 2017 and has a background in deep learning for speech and computer vision.  



His academic accolades include gold medals at the International Astronomy Olympiad, International Mathematical Olympiad, and International Physics Olympiad. Additionally, he received the National Talent Search Scholarship from the Government of India in 2009, showcasing his exceptional intellect from a young age.
