What’s the deal? Ryan RadloffDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has joined Valarian as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). The appointment brings an experienced technology and digital-assets executive into the senior team at the British sovereign-intelligence company, which is building hardened infrastructure for organisations that need to keep control of their data, models, agents and high-consequence workloads.

Why it matters: Radloff joins Valarian after previously serving as Max BuchanDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →’s boss and mentor. Buchan, Valarian’s co-founder and CEO, previously worked with Radloff earlier in his career; the move now brings that former reporting and mentoring relationship into Valarian’s leadership team. A post announcing the appointment described Radloff as Buchan’s first boss and noted that he had built three successful companies before joining Valarian.

Radloff is best known as a co-founder of CoinShares and as the former CEO of Choice. At Valarian, he will lead revenue and commercial development as the company takes its sovereign-intelligence platform to customers. Valarian describes its ACRA architecture as a control layer for workloads running across cloud, on-premises and air-gapped environments, with policy, workload identity, network isolation, secrets, messaging and audit built into the operating environment. The CRO appointment therefore adds commercial leadership at a stage when the company is positioning its infrastructure for enterprise and other high-consequence use cases.

Radloff’s arrival also reconnects a long-standing professional relationship with a new company-building effort: the former boss and mentor is now joining Buchan as a senior executive, helping Valarian translate its technical proposition into wider market adoption.
