ZymoChem wins $4M DOE grant to reboot US biomanufacturing supply chains

ZymoChem will lead a consortium including Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory's Advanced Biofuels and Bioproducts Process Development Unit and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. The work covers fermentation scale-up, process development, and techno-economic and life-cycle analyses.

"American taxpayer-funded science is being translated directly into American industrial capability," Chokhawala said. "That's exactly the model that should be scaling."
