WaVe-X backs All3, the robotics startup automating timber construction

What's the endgame? All3 uses cross-laminated timber (CLT) as its primary material, supplemented with steel and concrete where structurally useful. Its system combines three technologies: "Mantis," an autonomous robot for on-site assembly; AI-driven planning software; and a cell-based "Robofactory" for automated production of custom components.
The company claims up to 30% cost savings, up to 50% shorter project timelines, and up to 25% fewer CO₂ emissions versus conventional methods — while preserving full architectural freedom on tight urban plots.
Why now? The investment targets core problems in construction: housing shortages, stagnant productivity, and high emissions. All3 validated its technology with a four-storey test building in Belgrade in autumn 2025 and plans its first customer project in 2026.

"All3 combines advanced robotics with concrete building practice," said Michal Lewandowski of WaVe-X. The endorsement matters to the startup: "when a group like this considers our technology market-ready, that is the confirmation that counts," said Rodion Shishkov, co-founder and chief executive officer of All3 (translated from German).
The signal: The round reflects growing investor conviction that modular timber construction can address Europe's housing crunch. By pairing a robotics startup with an established property developer, WaVe-X is betting that "physical AI" and automated assembly can finally lift productivity in a sector that has long resisted it.
