Core Lithium buys A$4M stake in Axiant Resources

The terms: Axiant paid with 20,000,000 shares valued at A$4 million, priced at A$0.20 each, plus 20,000,000 performance rights.

What's the endgame? Beyond the shares, Core Lithium secured the right to nominate one non-executive director to Axiant's board. It can hold that right as long as it keeps at least a 15% shareholding.

The signal: The deal lets Core Lithium exit two exploration assets while retaining upside through a large equity position — a structure that ties both companies' fortunes together as lithium miners navigate volatile prices.
