The details: Union (Mauritius) Holdings, owned by Azad Moopen Mandayapurath and his family, acquired 46.09 lakh shares — 0.52% of Aster DM Quality Care's paid-up equity. The promoter paid Rs 350.34 crore, or Rs 760 per share.

Who's selling? Centella Mauritius Holdings, an investment vehicle owned by affiliates of global alternative asset management firm TPG, was the seller. It held a 9.9% stake in Aster DM Quality Care as of June 2026.

The signal: The promoter family is increasing its grip on the company as a longtime private equity backer trims its holding. It marks a step in TPG's exit from a position built over years in one of India's healthcare services players.
