FitzMark buys trade show logistics broker UTS in 11th deal since 2006

Founded in 1998, Aurora, Colorado-based UTS is a full-service third-party logistics (3PL) provider focused on retail and hospitality. It offers dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and specialty truckload transportation, plus packaging, warehousing, and white-glove delivery.
What's the endgame? The acquisition adds high-touch trade show logistics and expanded warehousing to FitzMark's portfolio. "We look forward to supporting UTS as it continues to grow," said Scott Fitzgerald, FitzMark founder and chief executive officer.
UTS chief executive officer and president Bruce Parsons said the company can now "expand capacity and service offerings while growing our shipper community together."
The signal: This is FitzMark's 11th acquisition since it opened in 2006, reflecting a broader push to scale freight brokerage through consolidation.
