What each company does: Salute provides end-to-end data center lifecycle services, including its Direct-to-Chip liquid cooling capabilities. T5 Operations has spent 12 years delivering integrated facility management and mission-critical services to hyperscalers and wholesale developers across the US and Europe.
What changes? Once closed, the acquisition will expand Salute's footprint to more than 15GW of data center capacity under management across 150-plus markets, and grow its workforce to more than 3,800 employees.
Why now? Salute framed the deal as a response to global demand for AI and high-performance computing facilities. "This latest deal is a significant step in our growth journey, one that's fueled by demand for AI/HPC facilities across the world," said chief executive officer Erich Sanchack.
Who moves where? Pete Marin, chairman and chief executive officer of T5 Data Centers, will join Salute's board. David Mettler, executive vice president of T5 Operations, will join Salute's executive leadership team.
