What the founders say: "Our priority has been to develop tools that help the professional without ever replacing their clinical judgement," said co-founder Sonia Torras (translated from Spanish). Co-founder Eduard Martí added that the goal is for professionals to spend "less time on administrative tasks and more on clinical care."
What the backers say: Alejo Costa Ribalta, managing partner of CRB Health Tech's Digital Health fund, cited "a very effective value proposition" and "an excellent management team." Marcos Labori, head of GCO's corporate venture arm, said the firm backed eholo "convinced of the trajectory of digital mental health and the strength of its founding team."
The signal: Investor appetite is building for vertical software that pairs specialised AI with strict data controls in regulated sectors. eholo's bet is that mental health professionals will pay to automate paperwork — as long as the technology stays firmly under clinical control.
