PrepWizard lands 404 Endeavors backing to scale restaurant labeling platform

Co-founders Cole and Eli Harris will keep leading the business as president and chief technology officer, respectively.

What's the endgame? Founded by Doug Harris and his sons, Cole and Eli, PrepWizard replaces handwritten food prep labels with a cloud-based system that prints compliant labels in seconds. It says the tool helps restaurant teams cut labor hours, reduce food waste, and strengthen food safety across tens of thousands of locations.

What's the money for? The investment will fund PrepWizard's people, product, and go-to-market capabilities as it scales. "We look forward to helping PrepWizard continue to invest in its technology and expand its reach to even more customers," said Elie Javice, co-founder and co-managing partner of 404 Endeavors.

Why 404 Endeavors? The firm invests proprietary capital, focuses on one platform at a time, and works alongside management. Co-founder Andrew Hudis brings investing experience, while Javice has led technology and digital transformation across several major restaurant brands.

"We chose to partner with 404 Endeavors because Andrew and Elie share our vision and bring deep, relevant experience in investing and restaurant technology to help accelerate our growth," Cole and Eli Harris said in a joint statement.
