TikTok commits RM250M to Malaysian sellers through JomLokal
What's the deal? TikTok said at TikTok Shop Summit Malaysia 2026 that it will commit up to RM250 million during 2026 through its #JomLokal programme, supporting local sellers and creators.

The new programme offers 0% platform commission across 44 additional sub-categories, plus logistics and promotional support.
The signal: JomLokal has supported 400,000 local sellers and creators across 800,000 products, with participating sellers reporting 140% year-on-year sales growth as of June 2026. The programme also includes training, matchmaking, an RM2 standard-shipping rebate and expanded collection options.
By the category: Between July 2025 and July 2026, automotive grew 70%, household appliances 58%, pet supplies 57%, home improvement 47%, and baby and maternity 45% on the platform. Malaysian sellers saw sales rise 51% during the 2026 Ramadan and Raya period compared with regular days.
