Amara Raja authorises ₹5.5bn investment in new-energy subsidiaries

The board approved ₹5bn for Amara Raja Advanced Cell Technologies and ₹500m for Amara Raja Power Systems on 11 August 2026.
Why it matters. The investment brings total authorised capital to ₹25bn for the cell-technology business and ₹1bn for the power-systems arm, supporting the company’s planned 16 GWh battery capacity and expansion in power electronics and charging products.
