What's the focus? Monsoon Ventures will support founders commercialising agritech solutions designed to improve farmer livelihoods, environmental outcomes and regional food security across Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore. It aims to fund up to eight ventures in its first two years.
What comes next? The studio plans to attract and deploy significantly more capital over five years and build a portfolio of more than 30 scalable ventures across South-east Asia. It is also hiring a head of studio, partnerships lead and ventures lead for Singapore-based roles.
