AccessBank lands $75M FMO facility to fund Azerbaijan's MSMEs

What's the deal? AccessBankDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has signed a $75 million multi-currency credit facility with FMO, the Dutch entrepreneurial development bank. The four-year package splits into a $40 million committed tranche and a $35 million uncommitted tranche.

What's the endgame? AccessBank plans to use the money to expand financing for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Azerbaijan, including agricultural SMEs, women-led businesses and young entrepreneurs.

Why now? The facility fits AccessBank's strategy of widening access to finance for underserved businesses and expanding its lending portfolio in priority sectors.

The signal. FMO has a committed portfolio of roughly €15.3 billion across more than 85 countries. The facility channels that capital into a market where MSME lending remains a key gap.
