RevealDx lands $3.4M and global distribution deal with 4D Medical
What's the deal? RevealDxDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has secured US$2.2M investment from 4D Medical alongside a distribution agreement for its lung-cancer diagnostic software. Under the deal, 4D Medical will distribute RevealAI-Lung across the US, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
What does it do? RevealAI-Lung characterises incidental lung nodules on CT scans, using a Malignancy Similarity Index to score potential cancer risk. The score is intended to help radiologists make follow-up recommendations, according to the company.
What's the endgame? RevealDx said it has validated the software on more than 1,500 patients across a range of cohorts. The distribution partnership gives it reach into four markets where the product already holds regulatory clearance.
Why now? The software carries CE marking under the EU Medical Device Regulation, approval from Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration, and clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration. It is also reimbursable by Medicare under CPT codes 0721T and 0722T.
The signal: Pairing capital with distribution, the deal shows how AI diagnostic tools reach clinical adoption — through partners that already have regulatory footing and a route to radiologists.
