What each side brings: BlueAlly delivers national scale and lifecycle support across complex IT environments. Founded in 2008, GigaNetworks adds security and networking expertise across strategic planning, system evaluation, implementation, training, and support.

What's the endgame? BlueAlly wants to combine advisory, implementation, security, integration, and managed services within a single partner relationship. The two teams will support clients across security, cloud, networking, infrastructure, and operational needs.

Why it fits: Both companies share a client-focused model. "GigaNetworks and BlueAlly share similar cultures, which has helped accelerate integration efforts," said Ian Daum, chief revenue officer at BlueAlly.

GigaNetworks chief technology officer David Mendenhall said the deal gives clients "access to a much broader portfolio of solutions" while letting the firm draw on BlueAlly's "national reach."

The signal: The deal reflects steady consolidation among IT services firms as clients look to fewer partners to manage sprawling, security-heavy technology stacks. By absorbing a specialist, BlueAlly bets that combined scale and niche expertise will win business that neither could capture alone.
