Trump Media launches "Truth API" paid feed of market-moving Truth Social posts

Try Dealroom → (TMTG) unveiled Truth API in July 2026, a paid data feed giving banks and trading firms the fastest access to posts from the 10 most-followed Truth Social accounts, delivered in milliseconds, 24/7, with an archive dating back to 2022. It marks the company's first move into data licensing and a new revenue stream.
Pricing. TMTG discussed charging institutional clients as much as $100,000 per month, or a discounted $60,000 per month on a three-year plan. The product launched on 1 August 2026; the company said it had already signed customers ahead of launch but did not name them.
Why it matters. Trump's posts frequently move markets — for example, Wall Street indices turned sharply higher after his 9 April 2025 Truth Social post pausing many new tariffs for 90 days — so a millisecond speed edge can be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars per trade for high-frequency firms.
Scrutiny. Democratic lawmakers, including Senator Ron Wyden, criticised the feed and pressed the SEC to investigate it, citing conflict-of-interest concerns given that the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust holds roughly 41% of TMTG.
