What's the endgame? The line gives Teichos capital to advance late-stage solar projects across the northeastern US. Founded in 2012, the company runs a diversified portfolio of clean energy assets.
Why now? Teichos is pushing multiple projects toward completion and needs funding to keep them moving. "This development line will give our company access to new capital and help us advance a variety of solar-energy projects in the Northeastern United States," said chief executive officer Stephen Voorhees.
Who's involved? ACT Capital Advisors led the transaction through managing directors Brad Bodenman and Matt Latimer. Pathward, a national bank and subsidiary of Pathward Financial (Nasdaq: CASH), provided the capital, while BridgePeak — which managed a $4.79 billion commercial loan portfolio as of June 2026 — handles servicing.
"ACT Capital was pleased to work with Pathward, BridgePeak, and Teichos Energy to facilitate this transaction and help deliver a tailored capital solution to a growing solar-energy developer," said Bodenman.
The signal: Debt financing continues to flow toward late-stage solar developers, with banks and specialist lenders partnering to fund projects that meet rising regional energy demand.
