What does it do? Founded on the belief that "children deserve better," Pivot has grown from a single school into a multi-site provider supporting young people with complex needs across West Yorkshire and Humberside.

What's the money for? The funding will help Pivot extend its offer to more learners, broaden its age-range provision, and develop specialist hubs in local communities. Planned moves include expanded age-range provision in Kirklees and new hubs in Wakefield.

Why now? The backing coincides with Pivot's tenth anniversary and the launch of its Pivot 2030 Charter, a public commitment spanning five areas: People, Places, Progress, Partnerships, and Sustainability.

What they said: "This support from Barclays gives us the platform to take the next step in our journey," said Michael Smith, chief executive at Pivot Group. "It will help us reach more learners, closer to home."

Benjamin Booth, business development manager at Barclays Business Banking, called Pivot "a strong example of an ambitious regional organisation investing in growth while delivering real impact for the communities it serves."
