Morocco's T2S raises 1.1B MAD in Casablanca's first 2026 IPO, drawing 111,000 investors
What's the deal? Medical technology group Techniques Science Santé (T2S) raised 1.1 billion MAD (≈$117.7 million) in its initial public offering on the Casablanca stock exchange, the bourse said. The offer was oversubscribed 43.75 times, drawing 111,149 investors and total demand of 48.13 billion MAD.
The numbers: Subscribers requested 215,814,160 shares against an offer of just 4,932,734 titles, priced at 223 MAD each. That translated into an average satisfaction rate of 2.29%.
Why now? The deal, cleared by the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) on July 6, 2026, marks the first IPO of 2026 on the Casablanca exchange. It combined a capital increase of roughly 350 million MAD with a share sale of nearly 750 million MAD.
What's the endgame? Founded almost 35 years ago, T2S is one of Morocco's leading MedTech players, supplying diagnostic and therapy technologies to health facilities. Chief executive Abderraouf Sordo said the listing marks "une étape décisive" in the group's history, and reaffirmed its ambition to expand across Morocco and sub-Saharan Africa.
The signal: Bourse director general Nasser Seddiqi framed the response as evidence of "la confiance croissante des Marocains dans le marché boursier." Chairman Brahim Benjelloun Touimi added that the offering confirms the market's capacity to channel national savings toward the real economy and high-potential companies.
