Teraco co-founder backs Panda Hub after booking a car detail himself

Who's the investor? Tagg founded Webafrica in 1997, one of South Africa's largest internet service providers, and co-founded Teraco Data Environments, Africa's largest data centre operator. Why now? Tagg came to the company as a customer. After booking a detailing package for his car in Orlando, Florida, he asked Panda Hub's operations manager to introduce him to co-founders Reza Ahmadi and Abdullah Sharief.
"I found Panda Hub as a customer first," Tagg said. "The service was good enough that I wanted to know who was behind it."
What does it do? Panda Hub connects vehicle owners with vetted professional detailers who work at the customer's home or workplace. Customers book online for services from interior and exterior cleaning to paint correction, and the platform serves individuals as well as enterprise and fleet clients.
It operates in more than 100 cities across the US and Canada, has serviced over 70,000 vehicles, and ranked seventh on Deloitte's 2025 Technology Fast 50 Companies-to-Watch list with 683% three-year revenue growth.
What's the endgame? Tagg joins existing backers to support North American expansion, growth of the enterprise and fleet business, and new membership and rewards offerings.
The signal: The car detailing market is shifting from fixed-location shops toward app-based, at-home service. Grand View Research valued the global market at $41.4 billion in 2024, with North America accounting for roughly 35% of revenue — the convenience-first slice Panda Hub is chasing.
